Having a good and bright tail light is a must to help those other vehicles coming up behind you to be able to see you for safety reasons. The TL-LD270 is a bright red light that attaches to your seat post for easy tool free installation on any bike. It will run for up to 180 hours on two fresh N Batteries. The light features 3 bright LEDs that will either remain on constantly or flash. The flashing mode extends the battery life by 50% to 100% and I believe that it also is easier to see. The light design allows a clear view from the back but also illuminates such that it is visible from the sides as well. My wife uses this on her bike and she or I would ever ride without the light running day or night. We just feel safer with the light on. It hasn't broken after a fair amount of heavy shock and vibration from aggressive city/downhill riding. Puts out enough light, but isn't extremely bright.
