This review is from: CatEye Saddle Rail Mount (Sports) This is the best way that I have found to mount a taillight. It doesn't bounce or flop around. The light flashes above the rear wheel and is visible at a great angle from both sides. 0 It worked well on a carbon saddle with oval rails, no problems. It's almost impossible to install without removing the saddle. Leaving the seatpost attached isn't a problem. This review is from: CatEye Saddle Rail Mount (Sports) I bought this as a mounting option for the CatEye Rapid 5. It's a perfect solution to mount the light above the wheel's sightline. The construction feels good. It's made of a aluminum and plastic with a rubber spacer. Heeding warnings from other owners I went ahead and used locktite on the two screws and so far so good. The plastic retainer has the standard CatEye quick release so the light can easily be removed. Honestly this is such a "no brainer" solution it begs the question why this mount isn't included with the taillight to begin with. 0 The only thing I wish this could do was rotate more than 90 degrees. I'm using it with an after market padded seat and the bars on that are angle downward slightly at the rear. This places the light at a slight downward angle but it's still quite visible.
