The main purpose for this cable was to place it under my glass desk, just to create some mood that matches my pc build and the other led I have around. 0 When the PC is in sleep mode it makes my desk look very cool even when not in use. If the lights were brighter they would have probably been too disruptive in my office. The cable is very thin and you can easily create shapes with it, it is also USB powered so you can connect it directly to your pc and dont worry about it.  very dim - not bright at all, Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) The 5vdc usb inverter these ship with are under powered, the el wire is so dim the room needs to be dark to see that it even glows. 0 the inverter does not support 12vdc input it burns out in seconds. looking for this for your pc? look for 12vdc ones. I ended up buying a bunch of new inverters to use these in pc builds |
