The lights are bright and my kids like being able to choose the blinking pattern. Mine have been exposed to rain, sand and salt water and are still running. 0 I also like the fact that they can be taken off the bike and have a built in clip so you can put it on a belt or bag. Just be careful to ensure that the light is "locked" into place when you put it back on the bike. You may have to push down on the retaining tab.
