I showed it off proudly - this is going to be great! 0 Then: First a challenge: I have a Topeak beam rack and Trunkbag, so I could not mount this on my seat post and have it be at all useful. But hey, I"m creative - a couple zip-ties and I was able to tie the mounting bracket to the Trunkbag - good so far. First ride - wow, this seems really awesome. Cars can see me and are giving me a wide berth. Then comes the real disappointment: two rides in, as hit the bump of the curb exiting my driveway into the street for my third commute to work, the cheap plastic mounting bracket snaps, breaking into many pieces and the light goes flying. The light survived the crash; the bracket was in 3-4 pieces, completely useless. The warning: this is a heavy light, held by a very cheap plastic mounting bracket not made to take the daily motion of riding. Unfortunately, due to the design of the light's housing/mounting surface, there's no easy workaround. So now I have a beautiful, really cool light, but it's completely useless to me due to a cheap, useless mounting bracket....bummer!!
