Simply line up the composite QuickTrack base with the channels on any Topeak rear rack and slide forward until it clicks into place--there are no tools, no st raps, and no hassles. To remove, simply push the yellow release button and slide the bag or basket rearward until completely disengaged.

I have both the baby seat and one of the larger MTX compatible bags with foldout paniers. The bag slides on solidly and stays put. It takes 3 seconds to attach the bag and then I'm off. I've crashed (learning clipless pedals...but no baby on board!), and while the rack did get bent slightly, it's still holding up great and is extremely solid. 0 The baby seat attaches securely. It's far better than the cheap bolt-on seat we bought for cheap at the big blue mart. :) Yes, you have to have seat stay bosses. The Topeak web site is clear that it uses "Braze-On Type" attachements. If someone was unsure, they could download the userguide from Topeak in one of several languages.
